Python development

Python is what we reach for when the work is data, integration or anything that has to run reliably in the background. We build services, pipelines and internal tools that other systems depend on.

We use Python for the work that sits behind the interface: pulling data from one place, reshaping it, pushing it somewhere else, and doing that every hour without falling over.

Typical work

  • Backend services and internal APIs on PostgreSQL
  • Scheduled pipelines that collect, clean and load data
  • Integrations with payment, messaging and CRM APIs
  • Scrapers built on Playwright, with the operational plumbing around them
  • Small internal tools that replace a spreadsheet process

How we work

Every service ships with the unglamorous parts: structured logs, a health endpoint, retries with backoff, and a deploy that runs the same way twice. We prefer plain PostgreSQL and Redis to exotic infrastructure, and we write down the decisions so the next developer does not have to guess.

If you already have a Python codebase, we start by reading it. The proposal that follows is usually smaller than you expected.

// FAQ //

Questions about python development.

Yes. When there is an existing repository we read it first, then propose the smallest change that solves the problem.

You do. Everything is handed over in your repository with documentation.

Discovery usually begins within one to two weeks of a first call. If something is urgent, say so and we will tell you honestly whether we can fit it.

Then we start with a short paid scoping sprint: we map the workflow, define the scope and backlog, and give you an estimate you can hold us to.

Yes. A retained squad gives you ongoing design, development and automation capacity billed monthly, with a fixed set of people who know your systems.

Every build includes three months of support after launch. After that, a retainer or ad-hoc work, your choice.
